1. What if
I don't know how to spell a name/do not have a complete address?
If you do not know how to spell a name exactly, or do not know the
property's full address, you can still search for a Record of Sheriff's
Foreclosure/Execution Sale. The system will allow you to search
on just the first name, just the last name, or any combination of
the two. You can also conduct partial seaches. For example, typing
the letters "JO" in the last name field will list all
mortgagors with the last name "JOHNSON", "JOHNSEN",
"JONSON", etc. Similarly, typing "Wood" in the
street address field will list all properties on "Woodland
Street", "Elmwood Drive", "Oakwoodlin Path",
etc. or typing "Brooklyn Park" in the city field will
list all properties in Brooklyn Park. You can also find a property
record by searching by the type of sale (i.e. assessment, association,
execution, judgement, and mortgage).
